Yes, these are largely hip hop styles, but fashion is so incestuous these days that most companies are releasing similar items across the board. For instance, the checked gingham shirt, first popularized by the Mod/Skinhead movement of the late 60s in England, is now a staple in the fashion-diet of every subculture. And although it's not Ben Sherman or Fred Perry, Enyce's is fine substitute since the other companies (unfairly?) don't offer 'em in your size.
